Kyiv

Kiev is the capital of Ukraine. There is the river in Kyiv. It is called the Dnipro. Kyiv is situated on both banks of it.

      Kyiv is an old city. Three brothers Kyi, Shchek and Khoryv and their sister Lybid founded it more than 1,500 years ago.

      Kyiv is very beautiful  because there are many parks and squares. The biggest park is called Hydro Park.  There you can see a lot of flowers and trees. People often go to churches and cathedrals especially on holidays.  If you have some free time you can visit museums, cinemas or theatres.

       Khreshchatyk is the main street in Kyiv. There are many cars, buses and trams. You can buy everything you want in supermarkets, shops and markets. You can have your lunch or dinner at  restaurants  and cafes.

        Many people visit Kyiv every day.
